INVERTER BATTERY

Image
The Inverter Battery determines the duration of light in your homes. It is the back bone of an Inverter.  Inverter batteries are lead acid batteries, and they are made up of gel or liquid electrolytes, absorbed into fiberglass matt. The electrolytes in most stem-cell battery is sulphuric acid diluted with distilled water.  Over time, people have experienced their batteries exploding or busting, leaving them curious as to what is the cause of the explosion. When one puts in too much current when charging and adding an ignition source is the only way to get the battery to explode. Looking a bit closer, the battery start to accumulate hydrogen that can ignite explosively. Pontus Technology Limited (a.k.a Battery Physicians) Supply, Install and Maintain Inverter Batteries that has vents, this enables the Oxygen to purge the hydrogen gas in the battery, making your batteries explosive free. Let us see the advantages of owning an inverter Battery. Apart from enjoying Stable E...

INVERTER

To enjoy constant electricity, the right choice of inverter must be made. Some of the key things to consider before choosing an inverter are the load ( bulbs, home appliances or electronics), weather (climate conditions, location matters a lot), grid and the right place to keep the inverter should be considered before purchasing an inverter.  An inverter is a converter of Direct Current (DC) to Alternative Current (AC). After the Inverter finish converting the current, it becomes power used by appliances in the home or offices. An inverter can be seen as a portable consumer devices that allow the user to connect a battery, or set of batteries, to the device to produce AC power to run various electrical items such as lights, televisions, kitchen appliances, and power tools. Furthermore, it is always advised that solar panels be installed to charge the Inverter batteries and not just the grid. (Grid is a high voltage electrical cables that carry power throughout the country)...

SOLAR PANELS

Image
A solar Panel is a device that draws power from the sun and converts that current flow to electricity. They are used to absorb the sun's rays and convert them into electricity or heat. These cells are arranged in a grid-like pattern on the surface of solar panels. Simply put, a solar panel works by allowing photons, or particles of light, to knock electrons free from atoms, generating a flow of electricity. Solar panels actually comprise many, smaller units called photovoltaic cells. (Photovoltaic simply means they convert sunlight into  electricity.) A solar inverter system is not complete without a solar panel, therefore arises the questions, what type of solar panels should I use and how many do I need to carry my loads. In Pontus Technology Limited, we design and develop solutions to suit your needs.  There are three types of Solar Panels namely ; Monocrystalline, Polycrystalline (also known as multi-crystalline), and Thin-film. Monocrystalline panel is the best type...

Solar Inverter

A solar inverter is one of the most important elements of the solar electric power system. It converts the variable direct current (DC) output of a photovoltaic (PV) solar panel into alternating current (AC). HISTORY OF SOLAR INVERTER   In 1939, Alexandre Edmond Becquered discovered the photovoltaic effects which explains how electricity can be generated from sunlight.  The solar panels were first used in the United States in the year 1954, when Datyl Chapin, Calvin Fuller, and Gerald Pearson developed the silicon photovoltaic (PV) cell capable of converting enough of the sun's energy into power to run everyday electrical equipments. Residential solar was discovered in the year 2000 when scientists at sandia laboratories in Albuquerque,  New Mexico,  invented the modern Inverter when sunlight hits solar panels with particles called photons,  the modules convert them into electrons of DC current. BENEFITS OF SOLAR INVERTER   They have a long life spa...
